Coordination efforts pertaining to the verification of statements of support
Since 2012, citizens of the European Union have been able to directly influence EU legislation through a European Citizens' Initiative.
The statements of support collected by a European Citizens' Initiative must be checked for their validity in the respective EU states. This is done for statements of support collected in Germany by the Federal Office of Administration (Bundesverwaltungsamt).
